Why do I write for kids? Because there’s nothing better than a good children’s book. I especially like fantasy, mystery, and historical stories. Or any mix of the three.
That’s me with Kirby. Kirby’s the dog. He’s refusing to look at me because he just got some teeth pulled. As you can expect, he didn’t like it.
Get to
know me
I grew up in Minnesota and never left. I love the snow, but prefer fall and spring. I like hiking with Kirby (who has to stop and smell everything). I play guitar and drums, and absolutely love building LEGO. I studied English and Anthropology in college, went through a poetry phase, then straight back to children’s books. Oh, and I LOVE heavy metal. The heavier the better.
